Facilities Assistant

This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Integrity Trade Services is seeking an entry-level Facilities Assistant to join a leading technology company’s manufacturing team.

Job Title: Facilities Assistant
Location: Cedar Park, TX 78613
Pay Rate: $20/hr DOE

The Facilities Assistant supports the efficient operation and maintenance of the company’s facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment across manufacturing and construction areas. This role involves assisting with facility inspections, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and general facility support to keep daily operations running smoothly. The Facilities Assistant works closely with the Facilities Manager, maintenance teams, and other departments to uphold safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Job Description:

• Assist with daily facility operations in both office and production/construction areas.

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, utilities, equipment, and work areas to identify maintenance or safety concerns.

• Support preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and safety systems.

• Perform light repairs and upkeep, such as changing bulbs, basic plumbing, and assembling furniture/fixtures.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility services, repairs, and inspections.

• Help maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and spare parts for facility operations.

• Respond promptly to facility-related service requests from staff or production teams.

• Assist with workspace setups, equipment moves, and plant layout changes.

• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and environmental standards across the site.

• Support waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.

• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance logs, and facility service reports.

• Assist in preparing for audits, inspections, and emergency drills.

• Provide administrative support, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and vendor communications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in facility maintenance is a plus.

• Prior experience in facilities support, maintenance, or related roles in manufacturing/construction preferred.

• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, safety).

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Experience using hand tools and power equipment

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and noise

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and twisting

• Must wear PPE as required

• Exposure to mechanical tools and occasional electrical hazards

• No travel required
