We are looking for an On-Site Pantry Supervisor for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank in the Duquesne area. Starting salary is $34,800 - $41,000 Annually.

Pantry Supervisor role responsibilities:

• Provide food assistance to neighbors in need with dignity and respect.
• Greet guests, conduct intake via current client record management system, and issue scan cards to neighbors.
• Work with the Food Bank’s Marketing and Communications team to create and edit print and digital materials that provide updates and other critical information to Market neighbors.
• Oversee registration process of guests when assigned by Manager.
• Collaborate with the Resource Center team to provide information and referrals for programs such as SNAP.
• Work with the Resource Center team to understand guests’ needs beyond food.

• Must be willing to learn food bank specific technology, i.e., food inventory computer system and computerized record-keeping system(s).
• Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and telephone skills.
• Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to work strategically, collaboratively, and effectively with staff across many departments.
• Possess a valid driver’s license. Work travel, if required, is reimbursed at the federal reimbursement rate.
• PA State Police Background clearance.
• PA Child Abuse History clearance.
